Machu Picchu Adventure Tours & Travel
Adventure Holidays Peru is becoming Adios Adventure Travel
Same Company, New Name. Founded by Vidal Jaquehua.
Still locally owned & operated.
We expanded our operations with an office in the U.S. and trips to
Ecuador, Galapagos Islands, Peru & Bolivia
Travel to South America...
where you can mingle with the people, experience our rich traditions, enjoy the wholesome cuisine and travel to the remnants of ancient Inca civilizations. Let us take you to bustling markets and remote places, where you can find yourself and lose yourself. The fringe benefits are priceless: clean air, solitude, unforgettable views and the discovery of something unique and intimate.
Adventure Holidays Peru is growing and expanding. We offer package and "semi-independent" tours in Peru, Bolivia & Ecuador, including the Galapagos Islands. School groups, artists, photography groups, family groups or the merely curious can choose birding tours, cultural or traditional tours, adventure treks, outdoor trips, hikes, or explore mystical, esoteric and spiritual options. Your vacation to the empire of the Andes can include archaeological, natural and cultural wonders from sea to summit.
Our organized tours and vacation packages include hotel accommodations, daily excursions and archaeological trips escorted by professional, multi-lingual guides. We arrange all transportation (except international air) and transfers by licensed drivers including assistance upon arrival in Lima, Cusco, Quito or the city of your choice.
If you prefer more freedom and flexibility, we can set up "semi-independent" tours. We will arrange hotels, transfer and transportation services only. You are free to explore the destinations of your choice at your pace. You can choose guide services a la carte. For instance, you may choose to have a private guide escort you to and from Machu Picchu, but explore Cusco and Sacsayhuaman on your own. Guide services are best if arranged in advance. Depending on the time of year, we may be able to provide guides last minute, but cannot guarantee it.
Not a backcountry hiker? Ask about our traditional tours in Cusco, Quito or the city or region of your choice. On your next vacation you can visit ruins and explore indigenous markets without strenuous activity. Combine your trip to the Galapagos Islands with a trip to Machu Picchu.
By choosing Adios Adventure Travel you are promoting ethical and sustainable tourism and supporting the local economy. At no extra cost to you, we are able to improve working conditions by paying above average wages to porters, cooks, drivers, and guides. Low overhead reduces our expenses and allows us to offer not only affordable travel experiences, but extraordinary travel experiences. We know that it's your trip of a lifetime.
How do we rate? Why are we the best outfitter? Who do you choose when you travel? Why do our clients love our company?

We just got back from Peru and I have the best Inka Trail guide
recommendation - we felt so fortunate to have found him / them. I plan
to post something glowing about them. But until then, here is the info:
Adventure Holidays Peru

The owner and guide is a man named Vidal and his ethics and politics
are really right on, he pays the staff (porters, cook) a fair wage, and
he takes profits and builds schools for poor Andean children. Plus,
he's fluent in English, intelligent, funny and made us feel like we
could do anything. We set the pace each day and he knew how to keep us
away from the throngs of folks that do the trek, thus at times we felt
like we were the only ones in the mountains! The food was wonderful.
If you do contact him, tell him Sandi and Dane send their best.
Have a wonderful time, whoever you choose!
