Inca hike (clasic inca trail) 4 Days

This is the classic hike to the Inca trail, that takes you 4 days 3 nights, we make sure that everything is arrange for your excursion we have porters that take care of the equipment, a cook that make sure that your meals are ready when you get to the camp sides even a personal porter that takes your personal belongings ( sleeping back, clothing, etc).
Our guides takes care of you making sure that you get a nice excursion.

Itinerary:

Day 01

Hotel in Cusco - Wayllabamba

we came to your hotel to pick you up for our departure from Cusco to Km 82 ( Piskacucho), with a brief stop in Ollaytaytambo, where you can buy last minute gear and personal items. We arrive to Piskacucho where the hike begins on a strolling, (kind of flat path) along the Urubamba River and then shifts upward until our lunch stop. Along the way, we get some close-up view of the archaeological sites like Qhanamarca, Llactapata then we lead you to our campsite for the night.

Day 02

Wayllabamba - Warmiwanusca - Paqaymayu

This is the challenging day and we start hiking up to the highest point of the Inca Trail (Dead Woman's Pass). along the way we do notice several ecological zones and be able to discern between the different micro climates. the pass is at 4,200 meters/13,780 feet above sea level. Our descent will eventually take us to the campsite Pacaymayo, where we have a well deserved rest, and dinner.

Day 3

Paqaymayu - Chaquicocha - Winaywayna

The most beautiful part of the hike, because you will be hiking on trails that has been place over 600 years!, a 45 minute hike up to the second pass on the Inca Trail (3950 meters/12,959 feet above sea level). Along the way we are able to visit different Inca sites including Runcuracay, Sayacmarca, and Puyupatamarka. along the way our guides provides information about the history and significance of the places that you visit, wildlife and plants throughout the hike. After lunch we hike to the Wiñaywayna Camp site, for our last night on the Trail.

Day 4

Winaywayna - Machu Picchu - Cusco

After an early breakfast, we begin the final trek to the lost city of the Incas Machu Picchu. first we go to Inti Punku “ the Sun Gate”, where we get our first inspiring and panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Then we descend to Machu Picchu where we will register at the check point and enjoy our private, guided tour of the ancient site. After the tour you can choose to rest or explore the ruins on your own before we take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco.
